Slimefall: Siege of the Kingdom 0.2 Update!


DevLog #1 – HP Bars, New Slimes, Enemy Rebalance & Tower Buffs

Hey everyone! Here’s a update on the latest progress I’ve made on the game:

New Enemies

  • Added two new enemy types:

    • Big Slime – slow but tanky.

    • Slime King –even slower and tougher due to its massive size!

Enemy HP Bars

  • Enemies now show health bars, so you can finally see how tough they really are.

Enemy Spawn System Overhaul

  • Fully redesigned the enemy spawning system:

    • I can now manually create waves with any number and combination of enemy types.

    • This gives me full control over difficulty, pacing, and testing — and will allow for more creative and challenging level design in the future.

Enemy Rebalance

  • Increased the base HP for all enemies to make the game more challenging and to match the new tower mechanics.

Lighting Tower Rework

  • Rebalanced the Lighting Tower:

    • Adjusted base damage and range.

    • New mechanic: the tower now gains damage over time, making it stronger the longer it stays active — great for handling late-game swarms!
